This policy explains what personal information the ACL23 app and website collect, how we use it, and your rights. We've written it in plain English — no deliberate legalese.
ACL23 is the Assetto Console League results and member platform, operated by the ACL23 admin team. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at [email protected].
When you sign in with Apple
We use Sign In with Apple as our only login method. When you sign in for the first time, Apple may share your name and email address with us (you can choose to hide your email, in which case Apple provides a private relay address). We store this to create and identify your account. We do not use your email for marketing.
Your gamertag
When you link your in-game name to your profile, we store that gamertag alongside your account so we can display your race results, DR rating, and driver analysis.
Push notification token
If you're a paying member and grant notification permission, we store a push token (an anonymous device identifier provided by Apple/Expo) so we can send you race results, ELO changes, and friend activity alerts. You can revoke this at any time in your device's notification settings.
Subscription and purchase data
Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We only receive a transaction ID and subscription status confirmation — we never see your payment card details.
Following list
If you follow other drivers, we store those driver names linked to your account so we can send you notifications when they race.
Race data
Race results (lap times, positions, incidents) are collected automatically from ACL game servers. This data is not personally sensitive but is linked to your gamertag on our platform.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Railway, which runs on Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in the United States (us-west-2, Oregon). By using the app, you acknowledge that your data is processed and stored in the US.
We take reasonable steps to keep your data secure, including encrypted connections (TLS) and JWT-based authentication with tokens stored in your device's secure keychain.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Race result data is kept indefinitely as part of the league's historical record. If you delete your account, your personal account information (email, name, push tokens) is removed. Your gamertag and associated race results may remain as part of the historical record, but will no longer be linked to your account.

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking tools.
The ACL23 app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
